as a comparison...here is my left foot:

Been forever, I realize, but I've been busy. Went to Pgh for Memorial Day. Brian and Cassie got married (pics to follow). We've been doing a lot of climbing, and that is what leads me to this post. Last Tuesday I was attempting a V2 that I've done before and totally bit it coming off the wall. Landed half on the mat with my right foot and sprained my ankle worse than I've ever seen someone sprain an ankle before. Its gnarly. I'm kinda suprised that nothing is broken, but I've now had two doctors assure me of it, so I guess its just a nasty sprain. So I'm out of commission for quite a while now. And everyone keeps telling me "You know, I've heard that sometimes a bad sprain is worse than actually breaking it". Yeah, that helps a lot. Thanks people. Jerks. Anyway, here are some pics. Kinda gross, but I think kinda interesting to keep track of the swelling and bruising. This is one week from injury.

So, now that I've grossed everyone out....anyone have any good book suggestions? I'm going away with my mother this weekend, and hiking is now out of the picture, so I need something great to read. Probably at least two something greats to read. Help...please!
