Well I've decided that this has to be my week from hell when it comes to cars. I'm driving to work on Monday, all the while thinking "I need to get gas" because the light came on Sunday night. No big deal, theres a gas station on the way in. So I'm on the narrow two lane road when up ahead I see a pack of turkey vultures and crows muching on something in the road. The car ahead of me drives through and the birds part like the red sea. I get there and they all decide its safe to land again. BAM. A huge turkey vulture lands right in front of me. I swerve to miss, but alas, nail it anyway. Whoosh...there goes my Toyota emblem flying over the roof. So I keep driving till I can turn around, go back and retrieve my emblem. Call the hubby....everythings ok, car is drivable, etc, etc. OK, so I turn back around and head for the gas station.

Get to the gas station, reach in the bag for the wallet....WTF!!! NO WALLET!!! Well, ok, I have the check book. Go inside...no checks allowed. AARRGH! Call the hubby again and he comes and rescues me via AMEX.

Get an estimate, $484. Whatever. Fine. Driving to work today, on 95, and I get behind a big truck in the middle lane while trying to move to the left. BAM!! Rocks. Flying everywhere. I'm getting pelted by the damn things. Get to work. Just divits where they impacted the windshield. Until it gets hot. Then cold again. Damn. Now I have a 4 or 5 inch crack in the windsheild. I can't win this week. I'm staying home tomorrow to avoid any more work related car injuries.

I kinda felt like as much as I enjoyed going, PT wasn't working as well as I wanted it to, so I went and had accupuncture last Monday. Now I don't know if its all in my head or what, but my ankle feels almost back to normal now. I still have a little bit of pain, but I can run, climb, bike, hike, pretty much everything I did before with little to no pain now. Pretty damn cool if you ask me. I just got back from a 2 mile run and I feel like a million dollars. Have a good one ya'll!
