God I love my Steelers. They make life so much more entertaining.

Few things are better than a defense that forces turnovers and an offense that can run the ball and the clock. Love it.

Next week is the Ravens.....a tough game. But the Steelers at home are hard to beat, and the Ravens haven't had the best of luck at it lately. So heres hoping!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

2009. Its a little crazy to think about. I've been out of HS for basically 10 years now. Sometimes that makes me feel old, sometimes I just think about how much of my life there still is to live. And all the things I still want to do.

I've been trying to come up with "resolutions" that don't suck. I'm not a "be nice to everyone" kind of resolution person. Thats just not me. Last year the biggest acomplishment was to keep an accurate log of my workouts and save more money. I did great on my log till we went to Europe, then it fell apart a bit. I saved it some towards the end, but I don't think I even had a tab for December. I suck. We saved a bunch of money though. I think that is one place we're actually doing fairly well.

This year I'd like to camp more. I don't think we camped at all last year and that was very disappointing. We just got a new tent so Sawyer can go with us. We just need some snow.

I want to go somewhere different. Ejdo hasn't seen much of the US and he has been talking about going to Utah/New Mexico. I'd love to go back there. And climb mountains. We couldn't do that in CO with my parents, but if we go this year we've got to climb something.

I'd like to ride my bike more. Its not as convenient for me, because Sawyer needs/wants to run and I do trail races so I need to run, but I love the feeling of speed and risk that you get on a bike. Although running through the woods is exhilirating, nothing is quite like riding a bike.

I started crocheting last year and I enjoy that, but I feel like I need something else to do. Some hobby to get me out of the house and doesn't cost a ton of money. I'd like to start swimming more. Or get into muay thai. I said that last year too, but maybe this year we'll find a good place.

I'd like to read more this year too. Last year was kinda a bust on the reading front. I read a few books in Europe that I had been wanting to, but not much else was really new. I re-read my books a lot. Going to the library used to be so fun to me, I've started going again. No reason not to.

The family discussion has been coming up much more too. I don't think either of us want to confront it, but I know we're both thinking about it. We're not in the proper financial/job place right now, and there aren't specific plans to get there, but I think we're going to have to make some changes this year to get there.

So thats it I guess. Thats probably as close as I'm going to get to making a list of resolutions. Again, I suck. But its nice to get it all out on paper. Kinda.
