My life has been completely consumed by hockey for the last....gee...almost month. I'm starting to wonder if my heart can take all the stress I put on it. I really think it beats faster during a stressful game (like this entire series) than during a race. Its crazy.

But tonight is Game 7. Either we win and keep playing, or lose and go home to golf. As they say, "This one is for all the marbles." It doesn't help that the series happens to be between Pittsburgh and Washington and that Ejdo is a big Caps fan. We've been working really hard to not shove victories in the other's face. It can be challenging.

Of the six games played so far in this series, three have gone to over time. Two hat tricks have been scored....in the same game.... by opposing players. There have been zero fights. Garbage has been thrown by both teams fans after home losses. No one is immune.

We had the awesome privledge to attend last Mondays game at the Verizon Center. The Pens sadly lost, but that was the hat trick game for Sid and Ovie. Amazing game. Worth every penny. And Ejdo rocked the hawk.

Along the way, we ran our triathlon (finished 4th out of the 25 relays!! More to follow soon....after hockey maybe) went to Pittsburgh for a wedding, and attempted to keep our house from falling into disrepair as we paid attention only to the TV.

"Its a great day for hockey!!!" LETS GO PENS!!!
